ATTORNEY PROFILE A native of Santa Barbara, Kris Kallman has a long history of civic and professional involvement. As a resident of one of the world' s most beautiful cities, Kris has followed a three generation tradition of service to the community. He has served on the board of the Santa Barbara Zoo, has served as President of the Arthritis Foundation, on the board of the 19th District Agricultural Association (Earl Warren Showgrounds), and was elected El Presidente of Old Spanish Days Fiesta, one of the largest regional festivals in the west. Professionally, Kris has served on the board of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, and served as President of the San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has been a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and has lectured for MCLE credit concerning tort litigation techniques. Kris also served as an adjunct professor at the Santa Barbara College of Law, teaching first year Torts. Kris has tried nearly fifty (50) jury trials, all involving injury to persons and/or property. He has served as a judge pro tern in the Santa Barbara Superior Court, and is often used as an arbitrator in personal injury cases. |
